ABOUT MAULANA TARIQ JAMIL
Maulana Tariq Jamil is a Pakistani Islamic scholar and renowned preacher whose work has reached audiences across the world.
He studied Islamic sciences at Jamia Arabia, Raiwind, after initially pursuing medical studies at King Edward Medical College in Lahore. His Islamic studies included Qur’an, Hadith, Sharia, Fiqh and other traditional Islamic sciences.
A prominent member of the Tablighi Jamaat, Maulana Tariq Jamil has spent decades travelling internationally and delivering Islamic lectures focused on faith, character, spirituality and living according to Islamic teachings.
He is known for his accessible style of communicating Islamic teachings and his emphasis on bringing faith into everyday life. His work has attracted audiences from many different backgrounds and communities.
Maulana Tariq Jamil is also the founder and chairman associated with the MTJ Foundation, which supports initiatives in areas including education, healthcare, food, housing and humanitarian assistance.
He was awarded Pakistan’s Pride of Performance in recognition of his contribution.
